Privacy notice

What information this website collects, why it exists, and how to reach us about it.

Effective August 2026 ยท Common Practice Advisory Ltd.

01Who we are

Common Practice Advisory Ltd. operates this website. Contact: hello@commonpracticeadvisory.com.

02Information you give us directly

The site has two forms. The contact form collects the name, organization, email address and message you enter. The institutional supply form collects the details of the request you submit, including organization and contact details.

By default, submitting a form opens your own email application with the content pre-filled, so the message reaches us as ordinary email. Where a form-handling service is configured instead, the submission is transmitted to that service and forwarded to us by email.

We use what you send only to respond to your enquiry and to carry out any work that follows from it.

03Information collected automatically

This site is a set of static pages. It does not set advertising cookies and does not run behavioural tracking.

The hosting provider that serves the site records standard technical request information, such as IP address, request time, page requested and browser user-agent. That logging is part of how any website is served and is outside our direct control.

Two features store information in your own browser rather than sending it to us: the readiness assessment and any tool that remembers your position on a page. That data stays on your device and can be cleared through your browser.

04Third parties involved in serving the site

The site loads web fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a request to Google to retrieve them. Scheduling links point to Google Calendar. Where a form-handling service is configured, form contents pass through it.

Each of those providers operates under its own terms and privacy notice. We have not independently audited their practices, and this notice does not make representations on their behalf.

05How long we keep things

Enquiry correspondence is kept as long as needed to respond and, where an engagement follows, for the ordinary business and record-keeping life of that engagement. We do not maintain a marketing database or a mailing list from website submissions.

06Your requests

You can ask us what enquiry correspondence we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask us to delete it. Write to the address above and we will respond.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional statutory rights. Where those rights apply, you may exercise them by writing to us at the address above.

07Security

The site is served over HTTPS. We take reasonable care with the correspondence we hold. We do not claim certification under any specific security or privacy standard, and no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure.

08Where we are

Common Practice Advisory Ltd. is established in Canada, and this notice is governed by the laws of Canada. Information sent to us may be handled by service providers located in other countries, including the hosting, font and form providers described above.

09Changes

We may update this notice as the site or our practices change. The effective date at the top will change when we do.

Questions about this page, or a request relating to your information, can be sent to hello@commonpracticeadvisory.com.
